Hello!

Hello, bloggers and readers!

My name (for all intents and purposes) is Mac.  I'm a young teacher with a serious addiction to books, clothing, and BBC shows.  This year will see my long-awaited wedding to a wonderful and nerd-tolerant man, J. With the upcoming wedding, plus J’s college bills and my grad school bills, money is something that I seldom see. 

At this point in time, I am not entirely sure what I want this blog to be.  I envision a broad-spectrum thing, but it may narrow down later on.  At this point, I hope to show my budget-friendly outfit choices (can I be creative enough with my closet to not feel the need to buy more clothes?), share some DIY home projects (sanding, painting, and transforming ugly old furniture is a pet project!), and discuss my love of all things nerdy.

Will I update everyday?  Probs not.  I’ve had the same journal for years, and barely have 10 pages filled.  But I promise to try!

If you have any advice for a new blogger, I’d love to hear it.  What do you most love to see in a blog?  What was the hardest part for you about getting a blog started?

While I may not know what this blog is about, I am looking forward to tackling it wholeheartedly.  Let’s see what happens!
